Health and Safety
Improving the Health and Safety of our employees and collaborators is a fundamental principle of our business philosophy, embodied in our Code of Ethics. We believe that the only permissible accident is the one that does not exist, and that any unsafe or unhealthy situation can and should be avoided.
We intend that Health and Safety in the workplace is an intrinsic characteristic of all the environments in which we operate. The well-being of our people, our customers, our employees and society in general is one of our strategic objectives. We are committed to our environment and encourage the participation and leadership of our people in this area.
We believe that the qualification and training of our personnel in Health and Safety is a key factor in our success. Currently, our personnel have an average of more than 200 hours of specific training in occupational hazards, with an average of more than 225 hours among our personnel directly related to production, and we are continually reinforcing training in this field.
These and other commitments to Health and Safety are embodied in our Code of Ethics, in our Integrated Policy, and are developed through our Health and Safety systems certified under ISO 45001.
Health and Safety Management System
Since 2005, our construction companies have been pioneers in obtaining the OHSAS 18001 certification, and have also obtained the ISO 45001 certification.
We demand the practical and effective application of these Health and Safety standards in all our activities. Our activities are audited both internally and by third parties, verifying compliance with our commitments, and drawing the appropriate conclusions to promote our continuous improvement.
Our Health and Safety management system requires us to go beyond mere compliance with legal requirements. We implement the best technical and organizational practices, adapting them to each of our business areas.
