The machines can work in both conventional and international width, and incorporates devices of central plow, side plow, sweep and ballast hopper.

The central plow allows the correct distribution of the ballast on the track, avoiding areas with excess or defect of ballast. The lateral plow defines the profile of the sidewalk, reducing the risk of buckling of the track. The sweeping device of the surface of the drawers and sleepers prevents ballast stones from swirling as a result of the high speed currently being reached.
