The Port Authority of Las Palmas has awarded Rover Group, in UTE with the company Satocan, the construction of a new dock-dock in Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura) for 27.5 million euros and with a work execution time of 17 months.

The new dock-dock of Puerto del Rosario will have a depth of up to 19 meters and will exercise, at the same time, shelter functions for the port with respect to the waves that come from the East and docking functions by its west side. It will start from the southern zone of the outer edge of the current port platform and will present two alignments: a first one of 100 meters in length, and another, superimposed on the previous one, of 375.2 meters.

Rover Maritime, the marine infrastructure company of Rover Group, is currently working on the expansion of the Port of Bilbao, where it is building a new vertical box dock of 250 meters in length and an area of 50,000 m2, developed under the existing dam and with a budget of 33.1 million euros. Also, the construction of the new sheltering dikes for the emblematic Port of Gdansk in Poland, the third largest cargo port on the Baltic Sea, was recently completed, a project that has involved an investment of €134 million.
