Aicedrone Rail
The AICEDRONE Rail system enables the automation and enhancement of civil engineering activities for railway infrastructure projects through the development of software tools that integrate the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI), drone-mounted sensors (robotics), and high-performance computing.
The main objective of this technology is the development of a software solution for the detection and digital modeling of the 3D geometry of railway construction units and other elements of interest in civil engineering projects where ROVER RAIL carries out its railway construction and maintenance activities. This solution makes it possible to georeference different sections of the railway alignment during the construction phase, enabling continuous monitoring and quality control over time. To achieve this, Artificial Intelligence techniques have been combined with geomatics constraints derived from photogrammetric models and LiDAR-generated point clouds, applying the latest advances in drone-based computer vision technology.
