Aicedrone Road
The AICEDRONE Road system enables the automation and enhancement of civil engineering activities for road infrastructure projects through the development of software tools that integrate the latest technological advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI), drone-mounted sensors (robotics), and high-performance computing.
The main objective of this technology is the development of a software solution for the detection and digital modeling of the 3D geometry of construction units and other elements of interest in civil engineering projects where ROVER INFRAESTRUCTURAS carries out its road construction and maintenance activities. This solution makes it possible to georeference different sections of a project during the construction phase, enabling work progress monitoring and road marking quality control over time. To achieve this, Artificial Intelligence techniques have been combined with photogrammetric models and LiDAR-generated point clouds, applying the latest advances in drone-based computer vision technology.
