Cocheras metro Medellín (Colombia)

The project consists of the construction of a beach of 7 rail tracks and a total of 22 tracks of which 6 are in asphalt, 6 in concrete and 10 in ballast, in addition, the installation of 32 switches. The project includes the CONSTRUCTION OF THE civil works, supply of elements, equipment and assembly of the railway track, testing and tuning of all the equipment installed for the extension of the infrastructure, as well as the catenary installations for all the tracks and the necessary signalling.

It also includes the construction of a train maintenance roof, a profiling workshop and a welding workshop, as well as a substation for the new electrical needs of the alternate workshop. In all areas, hydraulic networks, electrical networks, fire protection networks, voice and data networks, public address system and the construction of an industrial water treatment plant are being carried out.

In this important project for the Medellín Metro, the designs and technical specifications of the initial project have been improved, achieving an improvement in the quality of the work and customer satisfaction.
