Ballast regulator

These ballast profiling, distributing, and regulating machines significantly increase operational efficiency by minimizing the total amount of ballast required, as they recover ballast with the hopper and subsequently redistribute it.
The machines can operate on both standard gauge and international gauge tracks and are equipped with a central plough, side plough, sweeping device, and ballast hopper.
The central plough enables proper distribution of ballast along the track, preventing areas with excess or insufficient ballast. The side plough defines the ballast shoulder profile, reducing the risk of track buckling. The sweeping device clears the surface of sleepers and track boxes, preventing ballast stones from becoming airborne due to the high speeds reached in modern rail operations.
