Hydraulic portal gantries

MQ-PH-30

The main advantage of these gantries is their high productivity compared to other track renewal systems. Their high travel speed during operation, with the ability to transport track panels of up to 16 meters at a speed of 18 km/h, is significantly greater than the 3 km/h achieved by tracked systems.

They operate in pairs and perform the lifting, transport, and installation of preassembled track panels. They are capable of removing track embedded in ballast and can handle loads of up to 30 tonnes. They operate on an auxiliary track positioned parallel and external to the track under treatment, with a track spacing of 3.5 meters, and can be transported on railway wagons without infringing the loading gauge.

They are fully hydraulic, controlled by radio remote control, with the option of manual operation. They are also equipped with an auxiliary motor‑pump unit, allowing continued operation in the event of a failure in the main system, thus avoiding work stoppages.
